Regarding the decenter setting during design

When using decenter to separate the two homogeneous phases, and when connecting the flow paths, there is a first liquid and a second liquid. In the device settings, there are key components used to identify the second liquid phase. Is there any connection between these two? Does it refer to which one is on top and which one is on bottom? There’s another setting as well. How should I understand it? Thank you. The basic books I found on my own don’t explain this, and I’m not entirely sure either
There are no special regulations for Phase 1 and the second phase; either the liquid layer above or below can serve as the second phase. To determine which one is the second phase, it is specified in the \"Key components to identify 2nd liquid phase\" setting. However, under normal circumstances, phase 2 is generally set as the heavy phase.
