Reasons why the engine speed probe cannot detect low speeds

One turbine, with 6 speed probes; they are said to be eddy current type. It’s not known which manufacturer they belong to. There is no preamplifier. During installation, the probes need to be inserted all the way in first and then pulled back about one turn. Problems arose during testing: 2 of the 6 probes only showed a speed reading above around 500 revolutions per minute, while their readings were 0 at lower speeds. What could be the reason for this?
Switch to magnetoelectric type. Connect to the tachometer. If it’s an eddy current issue, such as with products from domestic manufacturers, communicate with the manufacturer to resolve it. Imported; domestic production can solve this issue.
It’s normal, because your probe isn’t a low-speed probe; to monitor low speeds, you need to use a low-speed probe
6 identical probes, with the same installation process; the other 4 are in normal use
That’s right; it’s not possible to install low-speed probes on all of them – there will definitely be a few that are low-speed probes
