From the SVI perspective, the sludge is lacking in nutrients, is severely aged, and has an excessive proportion of inorganic substances; Sludge drift and filamentous growth can easily occur at this time, so caution is necessary during operation. Suggestions: 1. Supplement the carbon source to ensure biochemical nutrients for optimal phosphorus removal ; 2. Sludge discharge reduces sludge concentration, increases SVI, enhances F/M, and delays sludge aging ; 3. Reduce DO; the effluent level should be at 0. Around 5 is sufficient; intermittent aeration can also be used ; 4. Use phosphorus removal agents to control the phosphorus content in the effluent and ensure it meets the standards ; 5. Increase the return flow rate to the secondary sedimentation tank to reduce the residence time.
