Dear sea friends: There is a batch of by-product KCl salt from upstream that turns colored due to the presence of phenol oxides. After extraction with chlorobenzene, some of the color remains in the KCl solution while some remains in chlorobenzene. What methods are available to treat the by-product potassium chloride salt in order to obtain a purer form of potassium chloride free of organic substances, which can then be sold as industrial-grade potassium chloride? I am hereby seeking technical guidance or complete equipment solutions.
Is your color dark? Has the phenol content been tested? The punching adsorbent used by our company has a strong adsorption capacity for phenol, and it also possesses decolorizing properties. I can provide relevant samples for testing here.

We have conducted experiments with this type of water before; for the treatment of phenol-containing wastewater and for wastewater decolorization, we have developed a type of macroporous adsorption resin specifically designed to remove phenols and achieve decolorization in saline wastewater generated during the processing of pharmaceuticals and pesticide intermediates. Phenols are easy to remove; the resin adsorption method mentioned above is a good approach, and we have carried out projects of this kind
