Seeking help on removing odors and tastes from drinking water

During the spring season change and in summer, when the algae content in the raw water is high, the odor and taste parameters of the raw water reach levels 2-3. At this point, there is a risk that the water leaving the plant will not meet the required standards; finding effective ways to remove odors and taste substances is an urgent issue that our company needs to address. It is an old factory, and it is known that biological activated carbon tanks can be used for removal, but there is no space to build such tanks. But precisely because it is an old factory, this method cannot be used to solve the problem; therefore, other approaches are being sought to address this challenge. I hope that relevant experts and specialists can provide guidance to resolve this issue; I will be extremely grateful!

Please indicate whether it is a water treatment plant or a sewage treatment plant? Where does the raw water come from?
Check the quality of the water; for drinking water, the taste should not be too strong, and resin adsorption could be an option. If it’s wastewater, then resin treatment is likely not feasible. If necessary, relevant products can be provided for testing.
This must be sewage. Do you have a place where you can install some activated carbon filters?
If there are algae in the water, it is still in the pretreatment stage; ozone or chlorine can be added first to remove the algae, and then filters or activated carbon filters can be used
