This post was last edited by liaifeng on 2018-8-2 at 12:20. The design pressure of our plant’s waste heat boiler is 0.75 Mpa, while the operating pressure is 0.5 Mpa. Trisodium phosphate is used inside the boiler for water quality treatment; the feed water is soft water that has been deoxygenated. Currently, the total alkalinity remains at 24 mmol/L even after chemical addition; it does not decrease even after the cessation of trisodium phosphate supplementation. There is no significant change either after increasing the frequency of wastewater discharge from once a day to three times a day, with the conductivity being around 6500. No chemicals were added before; this is the state it was in after chemicals were added in 2016. Don’t know how to solve it?
Do you reuse condensed water? What is the quality of the condensate water?
Is it a leakage issue, or is it a water problem?
Condensate water is recovered, but the feed water amount is only 0.58
The conductivity is already at 6500 – isn’t that still a leakage issue? Is it that tall? In water
Raise the drum liquid level a bit, then carry out blowdown to replace more of the boiler water. Also, when taking samples for continuous blowdown, those samples may not be accurate
I’ve tried it many times, but there’s no noticeable effect
