Last August, we carried out coking removal on the main oil and gas line of the coke tower; after that, the pressure dropped from 0.27 MPa to around 0.22 MPa. After operating under these conditions for a month, the pressure rose back to 0.27 MPa. Such attempts were only slightly effective – they failed to remove the coking that had formed in the main pipes, and thus the desired results were not achieved. After nearly 10 months of operation, the pressure in the coke tower of my unit is around 4 kilograms; it has managed to continue operating for over 1,000 days until the scheduled major maintenance shutdown. What methods have everyone tried to alleviate coking in oil and gas lines? How to handle the line when coking becomes severe without shutting it down? 、
Amazing – it can operate for 1,000 days even under a pressure of 4 kilograms! I don’t know what adverse symptoms have occurred during that time!
Why is the pressure here so high? Our coke tower’s pressure is around 0.15–0.18. We have a coking clearance hole at the top large oil and gas line of the coke tower; when the pressure difference is high, it is possible to clear the coking from the oil and gas line of the old tower after coking removal
It’s not 4 kilograms after 1000 days of operation; it’s 1000 days of operation, and in the subsequent months it reached 4 kilograms
