This unit for diesel hydrogenation features two reactors: one is called the hydrogenation protection and refining reactor, and the other is called the hydrogenation reforming reactor! What reactions take place in these two reactors?
The first reactor carries out deep desulfurization, denitration, and deoxygenation. The second is to increase the cetane number. The other two reactors are also filled with the same catalyst
If the catalysts are the same, why are two reactors needed?
