It is best to suspend the expansion joint in mid-air, and place four elevating pads under the cylinder.

When placing it, the main consideration is to avoid deformation; moreover, the interior must be cleaned thoroughly by using high-pressure gas. Especially for carbon steel equipment, it is best to fill the interior with nitrogen for protection, and it would be even better if stainless steel equipment also has its interior filled with nitrogen
Protect it with nitrogen; otherwise, it is prone to corrosion over time. We just filled the heat exchanger with nitrogen today.
