1) Thoroughly test the design capability of the plant’s distillation system and evaluate the rationality of the process flow. 2) Examine the construction and installation quality of the plant processes, equipment, pumps, pipelines, and instruments. 3) Have a thorough understanding of the operation of the process equipment and instruments in the plant. 4) Conduct a technical training session for the staff on duty, to familiarize them with the operation of pumps as well as the methods for controlling parameters such as temperature, flow rate, liquid level, and pressure, thereby further improving the operators’ skills in using DCS to control process parameters. 5) Use oil transport to further flush out any remaining dirt in the equipment and pipelines, and remove any residual water. 6) Address the issues identified during oil transportation, and wait for the feed to be introduced into the reaction system in order to prepare for starting up the reaction section.
