As the title suggests, I searched for a lot of information online regarding the hardness requirements after heat treatment of card sleeves, but found no relevant standards or documents to support this. I’m asking if anyone has such documents available, and how this data is obtained
700-900HV; no standard exists – it is an internal company standard determined through testing. For specific requirements, refer to Swagelok’s requirements for ferrule heat treatment. In addition, metallographic analysis and friction testing will be conducted after the testing
