Analysis of the contents of the electrolyte (sodium chloride, sodium chlorate, sodium hypochlorite): the concentration of sodium chloride is estimated to be between 90 and 320 g/l, that of sodium chlorate between 0 and 600 g/l, with a small amount of sodium hypochlorite present. We currently use chemical analysis methods; to improve the efficiency of this analysis, are there any more advanced analytical instruments available? In the saline solution produced by ion-exchange membrane caustic soda, as well as in the dilute saline solution coming out of the process, the sodium chlorate concentration cannot reach 600 g/L. Was this figure entered incorrectly, or is there some new manufacturing process involved? The brackish water that comes out of the tank usually passes through a chlorate decomposition tank – does that tank not serve any purpose at all? Or is this the process for producing sodium chlorate? If it is a process for producing sodium chlorate, then the concentration of sodium chloride is a bit too high. Which stage of this production process is this? A large disparity in the contents of the components has a significant impact on choosing an appropriate analysis method.
