The belt conveyor line can transport materials horizontally, upward at an incline, or downward at an incline. The machine tail end of the belt production line is a conveyor component; its basic structure consists of horizontally or inclined mounted rollers together with a conveyor belt, and together with the intermediate frame at the machine head end, these elements enable the rollers to move continuously in one direction, with goods being transported on the conveyor belt. Compared to the tail ends of conveyors of other types, the tail end of the DIII-type belt production line boasts excellent performance, high productivity, and stable and reliable steering. It also features a simple structure, low energy consumption, low operation and maintenance costs, easy repair, as well as the ability to enable automatic control and process management. The tail fitting machine of the DTII type belt production line, together with the head machine, can be used for horizontal and inclined transportation. It varies depending on the angle of inclination used, as well as on the properties of the materials being transported and the shape of the conveyor belt surface. The raw coal is conveyed using ordinary smooth conveyor belts in the belt production line, with the aim of designing a mining belt production line that features long distances, high efficiency, large carrying capacity, intelligence, and integration. Design parameters: Transport capacity Q1000t/h; belt speed V3.15m/s; transport distance L4038m. When selecting drums for a belt production line, they can also be chosen as either externally driven or internally driven types among the drive drums. External drive drum: The drive mechanism is located outside the driving drum, with the reducer being directly connected to the shaft of the driving drum. Internal drive type: In this configuration, all of the driving components are located inside the drive drum; this approach is also known as an electric drum. If the reducer is simply installed inside a barrel to form a gear drum, or as an external reducer drum, it is highly suitable for high-power belt production lines. The externally driven drum has a simple structure, is easy to disassemble, and has a low cost; moreover, there are single-drum, double-drum, and multi-drum versions of the externally driven drum design. Single-drum conveyors are commonly used in conveyors with relatively low power, such as those for surface transportation in coal mines and in coal processing plants. Underground belt production lines generally use dual drums to keep the structure of the belt production line compact. The advantages of internally driven drums, which help to reduce the space required underground, include a compact structure, good sealing performance, and low noise levels. However, they also have significant disadvantages: the motor located inside the drum makes it difficult for heat to dissipate, and disassembly and maintenance are inconvenient. After considering various factors, an external drive dual-drum drive was ultimately chosen. The more vertically oriented weight-based tensioning device is usually installed not far from the drive side, enabling rapid response. The modified quality requires that the tensioning mechanism of the vehicle be flexible and reliable, without any jamming. It occupies a large amount of space on the water’s surface, is difficult to install, has high inertia, can easily move in a straight line but finds it hard to rotate; it also requires many setup considerations.
