Is there any information on the advantages and disadvantages of various plate types for plate heat exchangers?
It is further divided into condensers, heat exchangers, evaporators, and coolers. The advantage is its versatility; aside from the evaporator, the disadvantages also stem from this versatility, as its performance isn’t as good as that of devices designed for specific tasks.;P;P I’m not sure which aspects you’re referring to with the advantages and disadvantages
The advantages and disadvantages of plate designs: it’s not related to heat exchangers, nor is it about whether they are herringbone-shaped, spherical, etc
The herringbone pattern is used in ordinary heat exchangers, while the spherical pattern is used in evaporators; their purposes are different, so their designs also differ. It can be said that they are not the same thing, and it’s therefore impossible to distinguish between their advantages and disadvantages. Heat exchangers also come in strip-shaped M-type and N-type configurations, and evaporators have diagonal-patterned designs. The advantages and disadvantages of these designs depend mainly on the type of material and the mode of evaporation; as for the plate design itself, I don’t think there are any advantages or disadvantages.
