Do the experts have the source files for simulating hydrogenation reactors using rstoic? I’m asking for help; thank you very much.
This module should be very simple; give it a try yourself
The key is that there are virtual component reactions involved; I don’t know how to enter them
Oil, right? Try other methods; if it’s simple, just use the reactor module. You can’t enter anything at all – if there are no components, let alone carry out any reactions. . . .
I’m not sure about virtual components, but Aspen has examples of combustion involving coal components. The principle is the same as in Excel: based on the amounts of various components, several reactions are defined, along with several calculation modules, to determine the products. The most important thing is to ensure mass balance; I think virtual components work in a similar way – each virtual component requires an equation and a calculation module to maintain material balance
