I have worked in a chemical plant for 7 years and obtained a diploma from a junior college degree program 1 year ago. Can I apply to become a certified safety engineer? What is the process?
Is it still possible to sign up now? Not canceled?
Registered Safety Engineer Eligibility Requirements Any citizen of the People’s Republic of China who complies with **laws and regulations and meets the specified eligibility requirements may apply to take the Registered Safety Engineer professional qualification exam. (1) Those who meet one of the following conditions may apply to take all subjects (the examination level is “4 subjects”) : 1. Having obtained a secondary vocational diploma in safety engineering or engineering economics, and having been engaged in work related to work safety for at least 7 years ； Or possess an equivalent secondary vocational qualification in another field, with at least 9 years of experience in work related to safe production. 2. Hold an associate degree in safety engineering or engineering economics, and have at least 5 years of experience in work related to safe production ； Or hold an associate degree from another specialized university, with at least 7 years of experience in work related to safe production. 3. Hold a bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or engineering economics, and have at least 3 years of experience in work related to safe production ； Or hold a bachelor’s degree from another specialized university, with at least 5 years of experience in work related to safe production. 4. Hold a second bachelor’s degree in safety engineering or engineering economics, or have graduated from a graduate program, and have at least 2 years of experience in work related to safe production ； Or have obtained a second bachelor’s degree in another field or graduated from a graduate program, with at least 3 years of experience in work related to safe production. 5. Hold a master’s degree in safety engineering or engineering economics, and have at least 1 year of experience in work related to safe production ； Or hold another professional master’s degree and have at least 2 years of experience in work related to safe production. 6. Hold a doctoral degree in safety engineering or engineering economics ； Or hold a doctoral degree in another field, with at least 1 year of experience in work related to safe production.
