Why does the pressure difference increase when water is injected continuously in front of the high-pressure section, even if the amount of water injected is large?
How many water injection points are there? Salt blockage in the ahead path cannot be ruled out
There are three water injection points in total: the second unit, the third high-temperature exchange unit, and the air cooler. Water is injected continuously into the air cooler; for the second high-temperature exchange unit, injecting water occasionally reduces the pressure difference, while continuous injection causes it to increase, so it is necessary to stop the process for a few hours before injecting water again
It could be high-concentration salt at the upper level; I added a water injection point right after the first one in the high-concentration area of my setup
What is the analysis of chloride ions in the raw material?
Typically, water is supplied continuously at the injection points in front of the high-pressure air cooler, while intermittent water supply is used in front of the heat exchanger – that is, water is injected only after a differential pressure is established. Each change in the water supply rate should be done gradually, in several steps, in order to increase the amount of water supplied in front of the heat exchanger. It is important to monitor changes in differential pressure, as well as to flush out ammonia salt crystals and ammonium chloride salts. The pH value and iron ion content of the cold low-boiling fraction water should also be analyzed, so that further assessments can be carried out. Secondly, it comes to the heat exchanger; the temperature before air cooling needs to be well controlled. A range of 170 to 220°C makes it easy to reduce salt consumption, and the temperature can be adjusted accordingly.
What is the normal low pH value for water?
Our unit only injects before high-pressure to air cooling; other high-pressure systems also have injection points, but they’re not in use now, so there’s no data that can help you.
