Dehydration of methylated amino resin

Friends, has anyone ever used methoxylated amino resins? What are the methods to increase the resin solid content? Is it better to remove water by azeotrope formation during the etherification stage or to remove it later in the post-treatment process? Does the final system adjust to a weakly alkaline condition?
