Help, does anyone have a template for completion documents regarding the modification of pressure vessels? Thank you very much
The renovation must be registered with the local pressure vessel inspection agency. As for the data. Design drawings, production and manufacturing process inspection reports, and so on are all required. It’s roughly similar to the process involved in creating new products.
(1) As-built drawings; (2) Certificate of conformity for pressure vessel products (including the product data sheet; see Annex B for the format), quality certification documents (including certificates of material for the main pressure-bearing components, material lists, quality plans or inspection plans, reports on structural dimension checks, welding records, non-destructive testing reports, heat treatment reports along with automatically recorded curves, pressure test reports, and leak test reports), as well as photocopies or reproductions of the product nameplate ; (3) Certificate of Supervision and Inspection for Special Equipment Manufacturing ; (4) Design documents for pressure vessels. 4.1.4.2 Factory delivery documents for heads and forgings The manufacturer of pressure vessel components such as heads and forgings shall provide the ordering party with quality certification documents for those components. 4.1.4.3 As-built documents for on-site welding 4.1.5 Product nameplate The manufacturer must install a product nameplate in a visible location on the pressure vessel. The nameplate shall be in Chinese (with Chinese and English in parallel if necessary) and in international units (the format for product nameplates is shown in Appendix C). 4.1.6 Design modifications: The manufacturing unit shall obtain a written approval document from the original design unit for making any modifications to the original design documents, and shall keep detailed records of the modified parts.
