After the normal pressure testing of a heat exchanger is completed, can the water remaining inside it drain away naturally when the unit is placed horizontally? I used air to blow on a few machines, but not much water came out
The housing is actually not flat, and a thin layer of water can accumulate in certain areas. The tube bundle is not like an air-cooled tube bundle, but it is essential to ensure that the cooler is horizontal. (The middle part of the air-cooling tube bundle will sink, and water accumulation may cause it to crack due to freezing.)

Yes. Be aware that in coolers installed on-site, water may accumulate in the water inlet valve, which could cause it to crack from freezing.
For newly installed units, piping is laid only after pressure testing is completed, and all valves are opened afterward.
