I would like to ask the experts here: a Venturi tube is used to create a vacuum in order to draw in activated carbon powder. Those who have experience using or installing such systems are welcome to share their insights. The vacuum level achieved by a Venturi vacuum pump is around 90%, but not such a high level of vacuum is required for vacuum conveying; around 50% is generally sufficient. Additionally, the particle size of the material should not exceed 1/4 of the diameter of the conveying pipe, with the specific dimensions needing to be determined based on the volume of material to be conveyed, as well as the distance and height involved.
During vacuum conveying, the required vacuum level is not very high; when transporting activated carbon, the vacuum level needs to be even lower. If the particle size of the activated carbon material is small, consider the filtration issue carefully. There are customer cases: even when transporting 1000-mesh oily carbon black, no dust leakage occurs.
