How long does it take to install and commission a centrifugal compressor? ? ?
It depends on your installation skills
I think it’s better to consult the installation team regarding this matter. I feel that there isn’t much flexibility in terms of the installation time, while there might be greater variations when it comes to debugging; I know relatively little about this, so I’ll just wait for those who are more experienced.
There are many types of compressors, with variations in displacement and power levels. The original poster shouldn’t be so simplistic; at least a brief introduction should be provided. If the centrifugal compressor is a small, integrated skid-mounted unit, installation begins once the foundation inspection is completed. Depending on the workload related to piping and instrumentation, as well as the construction efficiency of the project team, it generally takes about half a month to complete the installation and proceed with single-unit testing. In the case of large-scale units, for example, those equipped with a turbine, gearbox, generator, and expander, starting from the completion of foundation acceptance, approximately 2 months is required for installation.
For large-scale units, it’s not just the main engine that matters; the auxiliary systems also need to be completed simultaneously before testing can proceed
