SV90%, SVi210; sludge consistency 4300. Microscopic examination revealed some minute worms, Breviorchis suillus, and an increase in filaments. The COD of the effluent is around 80, while the DO level is about 2. The sludge is yellow-brown in color. The inflow volume is 150 tons, and the reflux volume is 300 tons. It uses a Carrousel oxidation ditch, with sludge retention time of 6 days. 50 tons of clean water have been added to the oxidation tank now. Please help – what’s going on? Normally 40–50% SV40
