I have been working on module design for a few years, and today my supervisor asked me to introduce my work, focusing mainly on its importance. I’m completely confused – are they going to fire me? I’ve been working hard all these years. I was wondering how the more experienced colleagues introduce this topic – where do they start, what aspects do they focus on, and how do they make their supervisors see that my work is irreplaceable? Please don’t fire me.
It’s great that it’s open, and there’s also compensation. Think carefully about what your job responsibilities are and to whom you are accountable. There is never anyone who is irreplaceable.
This is meant for those who have just arrived, right?
Job responsibilities – it’s easy to write down who one is responsible to, but the leader wants to know the importance of those responsibilities. . .
Let’s hope so. . . But no matter how you write it, it’s the same. . .
Judge matters, not people; it seems the leader will have to give another lecture to the newcomers
Just write a draft first, and then give it to your supervisor! No matter what position it is, after working there for a while, one will think that anyone can do the job.
Just write about how important work is; indirectly mention that you’re the only one in the whole company who can do it, and that way you’ll get a promotion and a raise~~~
