Why don’t refineries use pipeline pumps?

In refineries, the pumps that are used are all horizontal ones equipped with diaphragm couplings, including those used for pumping water; there are no vertical pipeline pumps. Why is that? Is there some rule that prohibits their use?
We don’t use vertical pipeline pumps very often in our factory; I find that maintaining them is rather troublesome, and their applicable pressure and flow rates are also limited
Vertical pipeline pumps mainly occupy less space; what other advantages do they have? It’s still a horizontal type, Realcheng. . .
Why is maintenance troublesome? Isn’t it simpler than the horizontal type?
When maintaining the vertical pipeline pumps in our factory, it is necessary to remove the motors. These motors are usually quite heavy, and I find it troublesome to remove them, whether using lifting gear or a crane
