Are there any relevant standards for indicating the boundary level and liquid level of instruments with the same designation? Thank you, Haiyou

It’s a matter of the tag you choose to use; you could opt for different tags, but it’s also fine to use the same one, as it makes it easier to remember. 2. To give an example of a similar issue: if the liquid level is LI-107, then we add another level indicator on the same device, and we use LI-107A for that. This adds a limit level without changing the original liquid level tag (the numerical part of the tag). It would also be good if, from the initial design stage, two tables are considered, named LI-107A and LI-107B respectively. 3. Actually, it doesn’t really matter; as long as it can be remembered is fine. For example, it’s okay to use LI-107 for one and LI-108 for another. We used LI-107A after LI-107 because LI-108 refers to the liquid level of another tank; LI-107 and LI-108 are two tanks in the same process sequence, one right after the other, and we used LI-108A to represent the boundary level of the tank associated with LI-108’s liquid level. ——It’s not necessary to mention whether LI-109 can be used after LI-108; using the same terminology for items in the same series makes it easier to understand and remember.
You can completely define the tag number yourself! All designs from the same design institute use the same tag numbers... You can define them as you see fit; there’s no need to follow everything strictly
