In an LNG vaporization station, the medium is natural gas; does the gas released by the safety valves go directly into the atmosphere after passing through the EAG? Isn’t it necessary to discharge in a sealed manner?

The exhaust gas from the safety valve is heated by the carburetor before being released into the atmosphere; this heating is done to prevent the accumulation of NG at low temperatures, which could pose a risk. Don’t worry, the safety valve won’t allow too much to be released – it’s all just money: lol. BOG is usually combined with the NG output pipeline after pressure regulation.
May I ask the teacher, can the manual overpressure relief of the LNG storage tank be used to release air directly?
That’s the situation in this industry at present. However, GB150 stipulates that flammable substances must not be released directly into the atmosphere. The TSDG regulations state that substances lighter than air can be released at higher elevations once environmental assessments show they meet the required standards. Since natural gas is not counted as a source of carbon emissions, there are no environmental issues associated with it. Additionally, in this industry, substances are generally released directly into the atmosphere; natural gas processing facilities hardly have flares installed.

Generally speaking, the safety valve shouldn’t trip every day either; its activation constitutes an accident. If the amount of fluid discharged is large, it is recommended to install a recovery device
