Is it necessary to add a dust filter after the molecular sieve adsorber? If so, what is the filtration precision required?
No increase on this side? Generally, a layer of fine stainless steel wire mesh is added to the internal pipes of the molecular sieve. No dust adsorber was added at the back. Molecular sieve adsorbers have a relatively high hardness.
Should the dew point meter placed after the molecular sieve adsorber be located before or after the main inlet valve of the tower? How to choose the range?
If the purity is already sufficient, does it still matter about the dew point?
Generally, dust filters are installed inside molecular sieve adsorbers, whether they are vertical or horizontal!
The dew point is generally installed on the gas pipeline of the cooler located after the booster end of the expander. I’m worried the cooler is leaking. Internal compression is generally installed on the gas pipeline behind the booster and on the gas pipeline of the expander cooler.
Large air separation units do not have this, but smaller ones may have it.
If it isn’t set, how can dust be filtered out? Are there any other measures?
Nowadays, agglomeration of the adsorbent rarely occurs; a small amount is filtered by fine mesh filters at the distributor at the molecular sieve outlet.
