Help, the plunger pump isn’t delivering any flow

This afternoon I was troubleshooting a catalyst unit using butane as the medium; the plunger pump wouldn’t increase its flow rate. I’m seeking advice from experts to figure out what could be the cause Thank you all!

In some cases, oil is needed to transmit pressure in order to make the diaphragm move; without oil or if air gets in, it definitely won’t work, as compressed gas and compressed liquid are not the same thing. 2. The most common issue is that impurities at the check valve (which is essentially a ball) at the pump’s inlet and outlet prevent it from returning to its closed position.
It’s basically a problem with the inlet and outlet check valves; open them to check if there is any sticking or wear.
