No active microorganisms were found under microscopy; what’s going on?

No microorganisms have been detected for two days – what’s going on? Papermaking wastewater: COD at the inlet of the oxidation ditch is 2000, sludge concentration is 5000, water temperature is over 39 degrees, DO is around 2, SV90 and SVI are 180; the effluent meets the standards
What should I do? What methods should be taken to restore it?
As long as the water quality meets the standards, and all indicators are within normal ranges, there is no problem.
With water temperatures too high, the usual indicator protozoa and metazoans have died off, and there are signs of deterioration in the wastewater. Suggestions: 1. Lower the water temperature as soon as possible, using methods such as cooling towers or spray towers ； 2. Appropriately reduce dissolved oxygen to prevent sludge aging ； 3. Sludge discharge reduces sludge concentration and maintains a reasonable F/M ratio.
