Background: Our company has a tank area for storing acid. Each time acid is to be transferred, it is pumped into truck tanks using fluoroplastic horizontal pumps; a temporary transparent hose is connected to the pump outlet, and this hose is inserted into the access hatch on top of the truck tank to facilitate the transfer of the acid. However, hose aging, vibration of the pipes during acid transportation, or improper securing to the manholes can cause the acid pipelines to come loose during the acid delivery process, resulting in acid spilling on the ground and posing environmental pollution problems as well as safety and environmental hazards to personnel. Then I designed a flexible hose loading system that eliminates the need for temporary pipes altogether, preventing issues such as pipe aging or detachment. The cost was too high, so the boss ultimately refused to agree. I would like to ask all my colleagues: given the specific circumstances of our company, is there any type of conveying device that can completely eliminate the need for temporary pipes and thus prevent safety hazards? It is recommended to add a section of stainless steel pipe to raise the height to 4 meters before bending it; a hose should be attached to the bent part, so that it can hang straight down into the tank truck upon installation.
