Our company uses producer gas (hot gas) as fuel for the heating furnaces and boilers in our chemical production processes. Since it is hot gas, the burners often get clogged. Could anyone please suggest a solution? Thank you very much!

It should be tar and solid particles; there’s definitely no problem with cold gas.
First, the tar should be separated, and then cooled. The tar separation process used in the Ruhr gasification process can serve as a reference. If it’s not necessary to use hot gas, the gas should be cooled before use. The particles in question are usually sulfur particles, and the best approach is to remove sulfur from them.
The coal in Xinjiang should be bituminous coal. It is locally known as thermal coal. As coal for vaporization, the type of coal is quite good
Normally, proper purification is necessary to remove and recover tar, aromatic hydrocarbons, sulfides, etc.; otherwise, the exhaust gas emissions will not meet the standards. Simply put, a cyclone dust collector can be used to separate solid particles and tar and similar substances
Burners often get clogged... There are two scenarios: 1. If it’s tar, the solution must be found by considering the principles of gasification in the gasifier, primarily by increasing the gasification temperature. 2. If it is carbon dust, the issue must be addressed through dust removal from hot gas. Such a system should be equipped with a dust collector; if none is available, one should be installed.
