Here are some practical suggestions: 1. Video recording: Use a Hikvision camera, a 2-megapixel network camera that supports 1080P output, can operate around the clock, and allows for remote monitoring via smartphone. It features dual-stream technology, uses H.265 video compression, supports the full TCP/IP protocol suite, handles video, alarm, and voice data, and comes with a built-in WEB browser that supports IE access. 2. Image recording: An NVR, an embedded network hard disk video recorder, is installed in the control room cabinet. 3. Video signal transmission: When the distance between the network-based cameras is less than 100 meters, they are connected directly to the switch via Ethernet; when the distance is greater than 100 meters, a single-mode optical cable is used to establish an Ethernet connection. The network cable used is an AMP Category 5e shielded cable, and the network connectors are AMP Category 5e shielded connectors. The explosion-proof junction box contains an optical fiber box and an optical fiber transceiver; the optical cable is connected to the optical fiber transceiver via the optical fiber box, and after being converted into Ethernet signals, it is transmitted to the terminal cameras through Category 5e shielded Ethernet cables. Network cameras represent the current mainstream technology, offering 1080P high-definition monitoring and 265 compression format. For higher-end solutions, CVR storage or cloud storage along with a video surveillance platform can be used in the backend. It is important to pay special attention to the details of installation – items such as network cables, RJ45 connectors, power supplies, and switches may not be obvious, but they are crucial for ensuring the stability of the surveillance system. Our organization has installed over 200 high-definition surveillance cameras; we manufacture both pan-tilt cameras and dome cameras ourselves. The surveillance covers the workshop area, as well as enabling centralized monitoring in the backend and external access to the surveillance footage – the results are quite satisfactory
