If I have a temperature transmitter TIT with on-site display (two-wire type), and at the time of commissioning the control system isn’t powered on yet, but I just want to check the temperature, can I supply it with 24V power using a 24V power supply or battery so that the temperature can be displayed on-site? I’m not in the instrumentation field. Right now, it’s necessary to perform an oil flushing of the system, but the control system isn’t in use yet. It’s required to monitor the oil temperature, and since there’s no thermometer on site, I suddenly thought of this issue and wanted to ask everyone for advice.
