During the BDO production process, butanol waste liquid is generated as a by-product; this liquid contains butanol, water, propanol, methanol, and other substances. In the butanol distillation tower, the concentration of butanol is usually quite high, around 40%. In China, companies that produce BDO include Sichuan Tianhua, Xinjiang Meike, Sinopec, Shaanxi Hua, and Shanxi Sanwei. Those working in the BDO industry may wonder whether this butanol waste liquid should be sold directly or whether a facility should be built for its recovery. Does anyone know the answer to this?
