Ego Coal Chemical Technology Syngas to Ethylene Glycol Process Package Review Author/Source: date: 2016-12-14 Click rate: 19 On December 8, Inner Mongolia Yigao Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.'s 250,000/year synthesis gas to ethylene glycol unit process package review meeting was held in Xi'an. This project is a project to transform the original Yigao coal-based methanol unit into an ethylene glycol unit. The construction site is located in Dalu Chemical Park, Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It adopts the patented syngas-to-ethylene glycol production technology of Shanghai Pujing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. and is designed by Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly the Sixth Chemical Engineering Institute). On the basis of the original methanol unit, without changing the coal, gasification and most public works, the existing coal gasification unit will be used to produce syngas, methanol synthesis will be transformed into ethylene glycol synthesis, some existing production units will be transformed, and a new 250,000 tons/year CO, H2 purification and ethylene glycol unit will be built. On August 23, 2016, Eco, Hualu and Pujing conducted a docking meeting at Hualu Company on the site conditions, process plan and nodes of the ethylene glycol project. ; On September 7, Egao and Pujing signed a process package technology transfer contract ; A project kick-off meeting was held on September 29 to determine the final process plan, peripheral conditions, overall layout and PDP progress. ; The process package review has recently been completed and is expected to be completed and put into production in November 2017. Yigao Company was established in June 2005. It was originally Inner Mongolia Sanwei Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. In November 2008, Yigao Environmental Protection Investment Co., Ltd. acquired and reorganized Inner Mongolia Sanwei Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. In 2015, Yigao Coal Chemical Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. acquired the shares of Inner Mongolia Sanwei Resources Group. Currently, Yigao Environmental Protection accounts for 70.1%, and Yigao Coal Chemical Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd. accounts for 29.9%.
