Statistics on coal chemical projects under construction, planned, or already completed in Xinjiang Author/Source: Date: 2016-07-18 Clicks: 11 Recently, the Environmental Protection Department of Xinjiang conducted a special inspection to oversee environmental protection measures during and after the construction of such projects. The scope of inspection includes traditional coal chemical production projects such as coal-to-methanol, coking, synthetic ammonia, and calcium carbide, as well as modern coal chemical projects like coal-based cogeneration, coal-to-olefins, coal-to-oil, coal-to-natural gas, coal-to-dimethyl ether, coal-to-ethylene glycol, conversion of coal to aromatics and butanediol via methanol, production of ethylene glycol and fine chemicals from coke oven exhaust gases, hydrogenation of coal tar, and coal upgrading (low-temperature pyrolysis).
