Can LNG be directly vaporized in an air-temperature vaporizer? I want to use it after it has been vaporized, and I don’t understand why it’s necessary to pressurize it first before vaporization
It can go directly into the vaporizer, and after vaporization, it is sent directly to downstream users. In some processes, a plunger pump is used first to increase pressure before vaporization, which represents an optimization of the process flow. If vaporization occurs first, heating is needed after vaporization, and then pressurization is achieved through a compressor – which is similar to CNG.
An L-CNG refueling station uses a high-pressure plunger pump to increase the pressure of LNG, after which it passes through a high-pressure vaporizer to become CNG with a pressure of over 20 MPa
It depends on the end use: if it is for cutting users, go straight to the carburetor; If charged into the vehicle, pressurize first before it enters the carburetor.
Is a plunger pump better or is a submersible pump better? Has anyone used both of these?
Plunger pumps are used for the LNG to CNG gasification process, while submersible pumps are used in LNG filling units. Submersible pumps have good thermal insulation properties, handle large volumes of fluid, and operate at low pressures; plunger pumps handle smaller volumes but at higher pressures, and do not have any thermal insulation measures
