Is a “single-unit plan” the same as a “detailed design plan”?

Without knowing the origin of these sets of words, it’s difficult to explain their meanings. However, in the process of building chemical plants, the relevant design phases include the project proposal, conceptual design, feasibility study, preliminary design (basic design), and detailed design (also known as construction drawing design). For some large-scale projects, an “overall design” is added after the preliminary design. For feasibility study, preliminary design, overall design, and detailed design, there are specific requirements regarding the level of detail required in the design.
