Generally, to determine whether a pump motor is in good condition or not, we use a megger to test its insulation, which allows us to assess its quality; please explain the working principle
This is when the motor fails to start, or due to high air humidity, electrical workers suspect there may be an issue with the insulation, so they use insulation resistance testing to check it.
How does it work? Why can the condition of a motor be determined by testing its insulation?
With the power supply grounded, how can the motor rotate? Think it over carefully; if you can’t figure it out, ask the electrical engineer.
