It’s a glass-lined reactor, and the material inside is quite viscous. Since sampling is done after separating the water, there may be water in the lower layer; therefore, only the material from the upper layer can be sampled. Previously, people would simply open the manhole cover and use bottles to retrieve the sample, but this method can no longer be used. What are some better ways for sampling? Thank you! ! !
We added a circulation pump at the discharge port to draw out the fluid and send it back into the reactor, and we installed a sampling port on the pipeline

Could you please explain in detail whether there is pressure inside your reactor, what the pressure level is, and whether there are any toxic substances present? It was said above that using a circulation pump isn’t very suitable for this situation due to the viscous nature of the liquid. If you know the liquid level, you can use a pressure gauge tube with two valves: O – F1 – F2; place the sample between F1 and F2 and then retrieve it
Add a tee behind your reactor, and install a buffer tank in the bypass line; determine its size based on your own estimates (estimate the amount of material needed so that the moisture level is appropriate, and choose a size slightly larger than that, as there will always be some residue left in the buffer tank). Then take samples from the bottom. Add a tee to the pump located after the buffer tank, so that any material that does not meet the standards can be returned to the tank
