Instructions for Installing and Using PIDCAD Network Version. The software consists of a client side and a server side. I. Software Installation – Server Side: No installation is required on the server side. Place the “PIDCAD Service” folder directly on the server. Client: The client should follow the instructions in the installation package step by step. For details, see the relevant section on “Software Installation and Uninstallation” in the software user manual. II. Software Usage: On the server side, run the ControlAuServer.exe file located in the “PIDCAD Service” folder directly. The number of authorized users indicates the maximum number of users that can be online at the same time. The service status indicates whether the service is running. Click [OK] to complete the software configuration, and the software will start. This configuration will be used automatically when the software is used in the future. Special note: If the PIDCAD client and server run on the same machine, the client must be configured with an IP address of 127.0.0.1. B. Change the software settings. The user disconnects. The number of authorized users has been exceeded. Network timeout. File Transfer: The client sends the file. As shown in Figure 1, by clicking on the menu, a dialog box like those in Figure 2 is displayed; after the user selects the file, they click the send button, and the file is sent. Click the “Open Folder” button to open the folder where the file is stored, and the file’s location will be automatically located. The server is used to send files. The file-sending window is as shown in the figure below: after the user selects the clients to which the files are to be sent (multiple selections are allowed), they click the “Send Files” button.
