The problem of smoke coming from chimneys

A few days ago, 3–5 minutes after the replacement of the large chimney, smoke was emitted – it appeared either blue or white – and there was no significant fluctuation in the online sulfur dioxide measurements. These past few days it’s different; it starts to appear about 5 minutes before the switch, and disappears after the switch, over and over again. At standard temperature, the number of cokes produced remains unchanged. I’m truly seeking advice on what the reasons are.
There may be water accumulation in the chimney, and pressure fluctuations caused by direction changes can lead to intermittent water ingress into the chimney.
Like in our factory, water may accumulate in the chimneys. I’m fine; there was some relatively severe smoking for about 10 minutes before and after the direction change.
We are highly dependent on the flue gas temperature
Thank you. The manager doesn’t agree to the possibility of water being present. How can we check and confirm whether there is water in the flue?
