Hello everyone, our company produces benzaldehyde with a purity of around 99.8%, and it usually contains 0.1% acyl chloride. We have tried washing it with alkaline solutions (as well as heating it under reflux), but the concentration of acyl chloride doesn’t change much in either case. I was wondering if there are any other methods that can be used to deal with this issue. Thank you!
