What should be done when slag accumulates and forms bridges above the slag breaker at the bottom of the gasifier quench chamber?

Change the lock hopper mode from automatic to manual, and pressurize the lock hopper manually. There are two ways of doing this: one is to set the pressure in the lock hopper to about 0.5 MPa lower than the pressure in the vaporization furnace (the exact value should be determined as appropriate). Called positive pressure; one method is to increase the pressure in the lock hopper by about 0.5 MPa above that of the vaporization furnace (the exact amount can be determined as needed), which is referred to as backpressure. After pressurizing, open the locked slag valve; repeat this process sequentially – applying positive pressure, rotating the slag breaker forward and backward, and then performing backflushing – in a cycle until the blockage is cleared. Some units have installed backflush pipelines between the upper lock slag and the middle lock slag, with the backflush medium being high-pressure deoxygenated water or high-pressure nitrogen. This recoil pipeline can be made good use of. If none of the above methods work, then the only option is to stop the vehicle, as what is blocking the path above is likely not fine debris but rather large objects.

Using a large pressure difference between the lockhopper and the gasifier for pressurized slag discharge yields good results, but it also carries risks.
