This unit is used to drive large piston compressors, with a power output of around 5000 KW
The domestic company that actually manufactures gas turbines on its own is Shanghai Electric, which acquired Ansaldo of Italy last year – the world’s fourth-largest gas turbine manufacturer

A 5MW gas turbine seems a bit too small for this purpose; the Siemens SGT-100 is supposed to have an output of 5–6MW. A combined cycle system is even less necessary in this case… There are only a few companies in China that produce industrial gas turbines. What was mentioned earlier about Shanghai Electric acquiring Ansaldo also involves small-scale turbines, with an output capacity of around 78MW
