I used to work with equipment, and now I need to get involved in the process calculations and selection of heat exchangers. Since I’m new to this field, I would like to ask those who are more experienced: where should I start my learning in terms of process calculations for heat exchangers?
For heat exchangers that simply do not undergo phase changes, you can refer to the chemical process design manual; it contains very detailed examples.
If there is a phase transition, how is it best to calculate it!
If it is a condenser, you can refer to the contents in the petrochemical design manual.
