CAD text copying references the format of the target text

I wonder if everyone has noticed that when copying text in CAD, the default format is that of the source text. If I copy text into the notes on my multi-line leader, and if the text comes from multiple sources, then I need to format each source in the style appropriate for multi-line leaders; the same applies to situations such as tables. I’m not sure if there is any parameter that can be used to ensure that, no matter where the text is copied from, it will be formatted using the default format of the target object.
