When designing pressure vessels, a volume is specified; how many coefficients are needed during the design process? For example, for a 2000L reactor, the actual volume can reach 3000L – how is this coefficient determined? 2. Are there any loading coefficients applicable to storage tank-type containers?
The Fixed Volume Regulations only specify a filling coefficient for pressure vessels used to store liquefied gases... No such requirement exists for other vessels; these requirements are generally set by the process engineering team or the user.
