Everyone is familiar with ball receiving and sending cylinders, as well as devices for receiving and sending pigging devices; I believe many people have been involved in the design of such products. Cylinders often have various openings, such as pressure gauge ports, safety valve ports, vent ports, drain ports, balance ports, and ball passage indicator ports. So, when it comes to receiving or sending materials, how is the length of the cylinder determined? Consider conventional pigging units and intelligent pigging units separately – are those holes necessary? Apart from the owner’s request for such answers, what do everyone think would be a more reasonable arrangement for the positions of these holes? Please ask an expert for help!
